Cochrane Neurological Network
The Multiple Sclerosis Group is actively collaborating with the Cochrane Neurological Network, an entity of the Cochrane Collaboration that works with neurological Cochrane Review Groups to improve their productivity and communicate the results of their research to a worldwide neurological community. Over the last years the Multiple Sclerosis Group has organised with them several presentations though we both delivered information about the work of the Cochrane Collaboration and results of our systematic reviews.
Cochrane Consumer Network
The Multiple Sclerosis Group also collaborates with The Cochrane Consumer Network (CCNET) which is made up of fellow consumers who are committed to the philosophies of The Cochrane Collaboration and the importance of consumer participation in informed healthcare decision-making processes. We both support consumers by enabling communication, training and guidance in providing a consumer perspective to Cochrane reviews and other activities within The Cochrane Collaboration.
We believe that consumer participation aids the development of high-quality and relevant systematic reviews, and that these reviews can actively inform evidence-based practice in health care with effective
Cochrane Vaccines Field
The Multiple Sclerosis Group interacts also with the Cochrane Vaccinens Field whose members peer review our protocols and reviews giving usefull comments and suggestions. Recently, a member of the Cochrane Vaccines Field has became a review author of our Group.
Italian Cochrane Centre
The Italian Cochrane Centre was established to help the development of The Cochrane Collaboration and to promote the culture of evidence-based health care in the Italian health care system by improving the process of uptake of research results in clinical practice.
The Italian Cochrane Centre provides practical and methodological assistance, as well as general support, to two Collaborative Review Groups (Drugs & Alcohol and Multiple Sclerosis) and two Fields (Neurological Network and Vaccine Field) whose editorial bases are in Italy.
