Consumer involvement

Consumers include people with multiple sclerosis or other demyelinating and inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system and relatives.
Consumers are primarily involved through informal networking, both at national and international level. 
As a new consumer is involved with the Group, he/she is given an introductory pack which enables him/her to understand how the Group works and which are the different steps involved in the review production.
Our consumers provide an important input to prioritise reviews, identify topics and relevant outcomes. Moreover, they collaborate in reviews' production, refereeing process (see editorial process), and helping authors to draft synopses. 
In order to keep consumers well informed about the progress of the group's activities, the Editorial Base organises quarterly meetings.
